Welcome to the Morningside Farmers’ Market

Certified organic produce. Fresh. Local.

Morningside Farmers Market is the first and only farmers market in Atlanta that requires all produce to be certified organic. Unwavering in our commitment to you, since 1995.

Fresh, local, certified organic vegetables, fruits and mushrooms. Plus locally produced meats raised on 100% organic GMO-free feed, bread and foods. Beautiful organic flowers in season. And artisan crafts.

The produce is grown by the farmers who are at the market. It's a very small, intimate farmers market where you can get to know the producers of the food.

Our neighborhood farmers market is open year round, every Saturday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM (winter hours 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM January 1 – March 31).

New and Special This Week: Doug’s Wild Alaska Salmon returns to Morningside Farmers Market with their wild salmon and halibut this Saturday. I've been enjoying the salmon filets and lox - fantastic! Be sure to stock up on healthy and nutritious flash-frozen wild salmon and halibut, direct from the fisherman.

More New and Special This Week: This is a great time of year to buy local certified organic greens from our farmers. Farmer Mark Lui from Crystal Organic Farm and producer of Eat Like Hippocrates says: "Unsurpassed for flavor, texture and sweetness. No other time it's this good. This is prime time to increase your greens intake... even ambush family/ friends." PLUS: two brand new chocolates from Xocolatl: "Kissed Mermaids" 60%: Caribbean cacao (Costa Rican), coconut milk, vanilla infused-sea salt and cacao nibs. And "Soul Rebel" 60%: Caribbean cacao (Costa Rican), coconut milk and Jamaican jerk spice. And as always, you'll find a variety of certified organic vegetables and fruits from our local Georgia farmers, and more.

New on Video: HGTV recently featured Sparta Mushrooms in a video segment. "See how Sparta Mushrooms has put a small Georgia town on the map for producing gourmet mushrooms." Owners Suzanne and Robert Currey, and mycologist Michael Thorpe are featured in this HGTV profile. What an outstanding video! - David
