Gary Mennie, Livingston

The stately and graceful 100-year-old Georgian Terrace Hotel, at the corner of Ponce de Leon and Peachtree, houses Livingston. Named after former Atlanta mayor Livingston Mims, who had a penchant for fine food and wine and who lived where the restaurant is now, Livingston Restaurant and Bar pays homage to the memory of the Old South and acknowledges the fast-paced and modern New South.  “I wanted to create an Atlanta restaurant that epitomizes the Atlanta of yesterday and the Atlanta of today,” says Mennie.
